Who runs Crankova, and is it an insurance company, agent or broker?
No. Crankova does not sell, arrange or service insurance of any kind, and the guides should not be read as insurance, legal or financial advice.
Do you file SR-22s?
No. Your insurer files when required.
Can I file a claim here?
No. Claims go to your own insurer. If anyone is hurt after a crash, call 911 first.
Can I sign up without an email, phone or ZIP code?
No. Leave the email, mobile and ZIP boxes empty if you like. We ask only for your name, a topic and agreement to the privacy terms.
Can you bind coverage for me?
No. Only a licensed insurer or agent can. We explain the vocabulary.
How much will my policy cost?
We cannot say, and we do not estimate it. Cost varies by state, vehicle, drivers and insurer, which is why the guides concentrate on what drives the number.
How do I stop emails?

How do I opt out of texts?

Which company should I choose?
That is your call, and we do not point you to one. We do not rank or match you with insurers or agents.
Do you pass my name to anyone?
No. Your name and details are not given to insurance companies, agents, quote sites or other partners. For the details, read the Privacy Policy.
Will I be signed up for texts automatically?
No. You are only texted if you tick a box yourself, and there is two separate unchecked boxes to choose from. Leaving it blank is fine.
What happens after I sign up?
Nothing more than what you ask for: reading material on your topic, and optional texts that point to the guides.
How often will you text me?
Not often. Message frequency varies, topping out around 8 a month, and message and data rates may apply.
